Our Project We are a group of independent households developing a beautiful property on Sooke Harbour that enjoys expansive water and mountain views with amenities a quick walk away in the village core. Our community design includes compact, fully independent condos in a low-rise apartment building, supplemented with extensive common facilities and landscaped green space.
We welcome new Associate Members who have attended an information meeting. Regularly scheduled workshops and information meetings are available for people interested in our project.
Our development company was established in the fall of 2016 with ten member households, and we secured a site at 6603 Sooke Road. Cohousing Development Consulting was contracted to provide professional cohousing project management services.
Our project received rezoning approval from District of Sooke in December 2017. Members have participated in the design process with the architect and other professionals. Campbell Construction will provide management services for construction which is expected to begin in Fall 2018. Completion is scheduled for Spring 2020.
